It's Not Rush's Fault

Of course not. All the blame belongs on the White House. Yup. You betcha.

The Official GOP Talking Points On Limbaugh

It took them awhile, but the GOP has come up with their official talking point on Rush Limbaugh. Here's John Boehner, from an article that went up on Politico at 4:46 (EST):"It's a huge distraction created by the White House" to avoid talking about [...]

El Rusho, Front and Center

He's just a talk show host, for goodness sakes! Still, Limbaugh has a huge following and is doing his best to stay high-profile in the GOP. If the old adage "all PR is good PR" is true, Limbaugh got lots of it this morning.

Rahm On Rush: He's The Voice, Energy And Intellect Of The GOP

Not missing any opportunity to make Rush Limbaugh the figurehead of the GOP, White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel called the brash talk show host the "voice and the intellectual force and energy behind the Republican Party" on Sunday. Appearing on CBS's Face The Nation, Emanuel brought up Limbaugh without [...]

Rush's Rampage

Limbaugh let loose at the Conservative convention this weekend. REALLY let loose.

Rush Limbaugh At CPAC: Doubles Down On Wanting Obama To Fail (VIDEO)

At his closing speech at the CPAC conference, conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh doubled down on his widely-controversial claim that he wanted President Barack Obama to fail, insisting that he meant what he said, and chastising those who were critical of him. "This notion that I want the president to fail, this shows you the problem we've got. This is nothing more than[...]
UPDATE:

Rush Limbaugh's message to the nation: Liberalism is a 'psychosis'

If there was any question that Rush Limbaugh has become the de facto head of the Republican Party, his much-anticipated speech toe the Conservative Political Action Conference today (which he semi-mockingly called his "First Address to the Nation") should have laid them to rest. There was a positive frenzy around him. But this was not a riveting speech, because in the end it was just[...]

Snicker Away

I haven't been watching "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" as much lately. I guess, after keep an eye and ear on news all day long, I'm burned out by the time 7 pm rolls around. Thanks to the MSNBC website, it's easy to sneak a peak at what I've missed. Keith's "Worst Person" segment last night punched a couple of my "favorite" people: Santelli and Limbaugh -

Radio Troubles

In case you don't know, radio's in a bit of trouble around America. Ya got yer mergers. Ya got yer consolidations. Ya got yer corporate ownership. And, ya got yer lack of balanced voices.

Dear Rush Limbaugh, Why Are You Hell-Bent On Protecting A Radio Market That Limits Free Speech?

In June 2007, the Center for American Progress and Free Press released a report titled “The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio.” It found that, of the radio stations owned by the five top commercial station owners, 91 percent of the total weekday talk radio programming on those stations was conservative. Only 9 percent was [...]

Video of The Night

This is the best video clip of the evening!  From CNBC's morning program, watch as host Mark Haynes takes Rush Limbaugh to task over his "bi-partisan" economic proposal. I can't embed the clip, so you'll just have to CLICK HERE TO WATCH. Side note, come on CNBC - you're the only part of NBC that doesn't allow clips to be embedded!

Fairness Doctrine, Part Two

If you lean to the right and have been climbing on board this "fairness doctrine" bandwagon, thanks to Rush and the others, take a deep breath. I'm all for trying to have some level of balance on radio and TV stations, but the fairness doctrine was almost impossible to manage. Now, please, let the New Republic calm your fears. Please. This is a non-issue.
Bum Rush
Obama's secret plan to muzzle talk radio.  Very, very secret.  —  Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, and other friends have spent the past year screaming about the horrors of Barack Obama.  And, while it's true that they talked ad nauseam about socialism and the Weathermen and Jeremiah Wright […]

Busting Limbaugh

He's so obviously lying on this issue.  The problem is that his "faithful followers" won't care.  And they'll continue to spread the BS around.

Limbaugh Repeats Myth That Obama Is Of ‘Arab-African’ Descent

Yesterday on his radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh falsely claimed that Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) is “Arab.” “He’s Arab. You know, he’s from Africa. He’s from Arab parts of Africa,” Limbaugh claimed. Today Limbaugh repeated the lie. While attempting to deny that race may play a role in the presidential campaign, Limbaugh read portions [...]
