Sometimes there ARE tidbits of information on Fox News that we should pay attention to. But, consider the source as you read what boils down to be a frightening post. Personally, I'll give it a bit of credence, since it's (at least) supported by a major newspaper report.
Breaking News: China Threatens to Dump U. S. Treasuries [News Hounds]
On FOX & Friends First this morning the trio of hosts made the startling announcement that China has threatened to dump US treasuries, which would precipitate a recession. According to this morning's Telegraph "The Chinese government has begun a concerted campaign of economic threats against the United States, hinting that it may liquidate its vast holding of US treasuries if Washington imposes trade sanctions to force a yuan revaluation."
