There is a lot of pain here in the nation's capital over Paris Hilton. She's getting all the attention. And that puts the politicians in this city in a funk. On a day that the defense secretary named a new chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and a Louisiana congressman pleaded not guilty to corruption charges, no one cared.
