Today's the day set aside for all bloggers to write something about the books that helped them enjoy reading as a child. For me, it was the Hardy Boys Mysteries that got me hooked. I could read every one of them, over and over. Nancy Drew was the female version. It may be a generational deal, though. We tried to get our own children interested, but it never happened. I know the books are still sold and have been updated. I spent hours and hours reading (and re-reading) those books, but also loved Mark Twain. Huck Finn was a favorite. Share yours in the comments, and make sure to check out the Little Rock Twestival, coming up next week! It's all about getting books into the kids' hands.
