Aretha Franklin's version at the inauguration was outstanding; enough to send shivers up and down my spine. However, I was reminded by the folks at Crooks and Liars that one Ray Charles could deliver a darn good version, too. Sit back, close your eyes, and enjoy.
Wouldn't it be great if the country, as a whole, could grow to appreciate such music, again?
