Randi Rhodes Attacked

I'll pass this along and wait for the story to fully develop.  It certainly could be a case of a random mugging.  At any rate, I've enjoyed listening to Randi, until Air America jumped ship and left Sirius and we lost our local broadcast affiliate. She's outspoken, but knows how to wage one heck of an argument. The article also mentions something I hadn't heard before, that another female progressive talker, Stephanie Miller, has been threatened in the past.  Stephanie is still on Sirius; I usually listen on the drive home. True, it's a huge delay, since she's a morning drive personality, but the content is still good.

UPDATE:  According to an update on that post, AAR says it was NOT any type of hate crime and Randi will return Thursday.

UPDATE 2:  Just to show you how fast stories explode through the blogosphere, this one seems to have gotten WAY out of hand! Now, reports indicate she fell.  There was no assault at all -
