General Tommy Franks: Iraq May Require 10 or 20 More Years

General Tommy Franks, former Centcom Commander, told Alan Colmes last night (9/12/07) that American troops may have to stay in Iraq for decades. That was no big deal to Franks when put "in the broad sweep of American history." Besides, he said, "No one has yet said that that will be 10 years or 20 years at the level of violence that we see in Iraq right now."
