Another unbelievably hot and humid day in Arkansas. Just a trip to the supermarket was enough to exhaust anyone. And our black lab-mix dog, the one who usually tries to eat the fence when the dog next door barks, simply ran to the fence, stopped, gave a halfhearted "woof" and headed back for the house. So, I watched the PGA tourney out of Tulsa, wondering how the heck those guys (and the TV crews) managed to survive the 100+ degree weather. Cooked some burgers on the grill for dinner and am about ready to call it a day. Skimming through bloglines, the good old Arkansas Times noticed something in the New York Times that bears repeating.
