I know there's video of Digby's speech floating around, but take a moment and read the text linked below. Digby is a progessive blogger who surprised a lot of folks this week when SHE accepted an award at a national bloggers' convention. I emphasized "SHE", because many (including yours truly), had assumed that SHE was a male for all this time. No particularly reason for that impression, but it seems to be somewhat prevalent.
