Libby Goes To Prison

Possibly to prison. Appeals likely.  Bond in the interim, not so likely. The judge, obviously, didn't buy the defense arguments.  Smackdown time...

Jail time that is. And a 250,000 fine to boot: Former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby Tuesday was sentenced to 30 months in prison for his role in hopes of avoiding prison in the CIA leak case. Libby, the former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, is the highest-ranking official convicted of a crime since the Iran Contra affair.
