We can chatter back and forth about all of the political BS we want, but the horrifying shooting in Virginia is getting (and deserves) most of America's attention today. If you, like I, have a child in college, the stark realization that "it could happen anywhere" hits home today. We all have to trust, hope and pray that this is an isolated incident. One fostered in the troubled mind of one young man who, for a yet unknown reason, felt compelled to make is mark in the annals of violence with something so heinous, so unfathomable, that it remains difficult to even begin to comprehend. Imagine how difficult it is for those directly involved; those families who lost students. And, those whose students survived. It is time to remember and cherish what we have.
