Ready For Subpoenas?

I'm betting that's how this will end up. I just can't see the DOJ rolling over and handing out all those papers...


Congress Presses for Justice Docs



One last chance, or the subpoenas come out. Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee along with ranking member Arlen Specter (R-PA) wrote Attorney General Alberto Gonzales yesterday to ask again for certain withheld documents relevant to the U.S. attorney firings [....]



UPDATE:  Well, now, that didn't take long, did it?


Breaking: Missing Justice Dept. documents subpoenaed.



MSNBC reports that the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed the Justice Department for a series of additional documents, revealed last week by The American Spectator, that have not been turned over to Congress. UPDATE: Several senators sent a letter yesterday to Alberto Gonzales requesting these documents: Justice Department officials have previously said they turned over all relevant [...]
