The Iowa Race

Politcos pay attention to Iowa because of the early caucus system.  I grew up there and still have family there.  The caucuses are a fascinating insight into "living room politics", since many of them are held in the living rooms of private individuals.  Iowans, generally, have always impressed me as having their collective heads on pretty straight.  Thus, the appeal of Giuliani and McCain is baffling to me.  Rudy doesn't exude family-friendly values and McCain has been sticking his foot in his mouth more often than not in recent days.  Still...
