The Bush-Gonzales relationship must run deeper that I realized. Sure, they go back to the glory days in Texas. Sure, Gonzales was hand-picked by George W. Still, it's a bit hard to understand the rock-solid support the President seems to be throwing Alberto's direction. A bit hard to understand UNTIL you let the folks at the Carpetbagger Report come up with the key.
