I remember when the House Taliban Republicans brought a resolution, praising Bush for protecting the US from Iraq, before my committee shortly after the invasion. I was outraged that they were trying to use the Arkansas General Assembly to perpetuate the fraudulent claims that Iraq was behind the 9/11 attacks and had WMDs. The resolution made it out of committee and the House with only one dissenting vote.
