No Way To Run A Government

This is really becoming an embarrassment - the way Washington is handling everyday administrative duties. I'm not pointing fingers at any particular administration, because these cases have been around for more than just a day or two. First, let's look at how reports of behavior issues at the embassy in Kabul were ignored. Repeatedly.

Then, there's the report on how the SEC botched the Madoff investigation. Time and time again.

Watch CBS Videos Online

Kind of makes me wonder how they'll handle more hands-on involvement with health care.  Do you suppose the timing of these stories is designed to convince us that they can't do a good job with health care?

UPDATE: So, what happens to the Kabul whistleblower? Forced to resign.
