Done Deal

It's yet another example to toss on the growing pile that confirms the Bush Administration was going to attack Iraq, no matter what.  No matter what the excuses were, no matter whether there were any excuses, no matter what Congress thought.  Thanks to the "internets", we find a fascinating front page story from the big newspaper in Madrid, Spain.


Bush reportedly told Spanish PM that we'd invade Baghdad whether or not Saddam complied with UN weapons inspections



So, the war didn't happen because Saddam wouldn't comply. It happened because Bush and the Republicans wanted it to happen no matter what, whether or not it was [...]
